An Scríobhlann / The Writing House:
An Scríobhlann is a training facility for prospective writers of fiction in English or Irish.
It is situated in Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare and is a subdivision of the MÓINÍN publishing house.
At this point, training at An Scríobhlann is given only in the writing of prose.
• Courses are given in the writing of the short story and the novel.
• An Scríobhlann offers single day, weekend, single week and longer term courses.
• An Scríobhlann welcomes small school groups , writers’ groups and groups of individuals.
• Our trainers are fulltime writers who have backgrounds in teaching.
• Our trainers are accomplished and published award-winning authors in their respective genres.
